What the Land Might Mean by Learning.
What the Land Might Mean by Learning is an 8 month place-based learning journey that unfolds as a slow arc of return, relationship, and remembrance. Across these months, participants move through gatherings, walks, conversations, and reflective practices that invite a deepening relationship with land as teacher, companion, and source of wisdom. The journey opens space to listen with more care to place, season, memory, community, and the more-than-human world.
The arc moves gently from arrival into attention, from attention into intimacy, and from intimacy into deeper questions of responsibility, reciprocity, and transformation. Along the way, participants are invited to notice how learning shifts when land is no longer treated as backdrop, but as living presence. It is a journey of reorientation, one that asks what education might become when shaped by listening, belonging, and the intelligence of life itself.
