Place-based learning involves immersing individuals in the local environment to deepen their understanding of community history, culture, and ecosystems. Participants engage in hands-on experiences, such as exploring local landmarks, conducting interviews with community members, and participating in projects that address community challenges.

The Knowledge in People Unlearning Festival is a transformative event, aimed at disrupting traditional education paradigms and restoring a sense of collective learning and community. Through activities such as ceremonial drumming, wisdom sharing from elders, and youth-led sessions, participants engage in unlearning established norms to embrace new ways of thinking and being. The festival serves as a platform for intergenerational exchange and exploration, offering diverse offerings ranging from sacred play to ancestral wisdom practices. Ultimately, it fosters a deep sense of connection and empowerment, inspiring attendees to carry forward the lessons of unlearning and restoration in their lives.

Learning journey experience provided by Reimagined Learning Community, a yatra is an immersive educational expedition characterized by meaningful engagement, intentional travel, relational connections, and reflective practices. Participants embark on a transformative journey, exploring diverse cultures, landscapes, and perspectives while actively participating in experiential learning activities. Through dialogue, hands-on experiences, and self-reflection, yatra participants deepen their understanding of themselves, others, and the world around them, fostering personal growth and collective learning within a supportive community setting.

Curated gatherings by Reimagined Learning Community are vibrant, inclusive events that unite activists, collectives, artists, grandmothers, youth, farmers, and participants from both local and international communities. These gatherings serve as dynamic forums for sharing knowledge, engaging in deep dialogue, and exploring pressing topics such as climate justice, cosmology, parenting, indigenous knowledge systems, food systems, and beyond. Through a blend of workshops, discussions, artistic expression, and communal activities, attendees are encouraged to think critically, feel deeply, and question existing paradigms, fostering mutual learning and collective action toward a more just and sustainable world.

Youth mentoring camps by RLC (Reimagined Learning Community) provide transformative experiences for young individuals from inner cities and townships, aiming to reconnect them with nature and cultivate a sense of collective responsibility for environmental stewardship. Through immersive outdoor activities, workshops, and discussions, participants engage with nature firsthand, learning about ecosystems, conservation practices, and sustainable living. Mentors guide them in exploring their relationship with the environment and understanding the interconnectedness of all living beings. These camps empower youth to become advocates for environmental justice and active contributors to building a healthier, more sustainable world.

A higher education Pop-up Lab that breaks away from traditional norms, offering a diverse curriculum spanning philosophy, African studies, cosmology, social and ecological complexities, and the concept of care. This unconventional pop-up lab serves as a dynamic space for intellectual exploration, challenging conventional educational structures. Through interactive workshops, discussions, and hands-on projects, participants delve into topics often overlooked in mainstream academia, fostering critical thinking and holistic understanding. The lab encourages an inclusive learning environment where individuals can engage deeply with interdisciplinary subjects, nurturing a community of curious minds dedicated to expanding their knowledge and perspectives.
